Each guess is placed on all 5 scales. The arrow on your guess points toward the hidden nation, and the shaded band shows the range where it can still be. ✓ means your guess matches the value of the hidden nation.
The hidden nation is one of 180: every FIFA member nation with at least 350,000 people.
The map shows latitude only. It greys out the nations that clue has ruled out; a nation still in colour may already be ruled out by one of the other five. Grey land you cannot pick is either already guessed or never the answer — tap it and it says which.
